mcb39 Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 Mine updated this morning as well as last more. What is more, all of my acks were in this morning. (All 6 of them)! Quote
michaelmars Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 did you try the infamous REBOOT? Quote
Jack from Ohio Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 Use only the "manual" method for updating. I stopped using the automatic 4 years ago. Too many "quirks" to depend on the automatic, just as you are now describing. Use the maual update, and it should be fine. Quote
ILLMAS Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 +1 on manual update every morning before opening a client, I do a manual update, has worked well since 2008. 1 Quote
MichaelG Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 Navigate to the NewFiles folder and make sure it is empty before updating. This folder is located inside the program installation folder. If this does not help let me know we will get you fixed up. Quote
joanmcq Posted January 22, 2012 Report Posted January 22, 2012 Mine updates whenever I'm doing something else. Quote
Terry O Posted January 22, 2012 Report Posted January 22, 2012 I had the same error the past 2 days. did the manual , and all the forms updated. However, sisnce I was not sure what the newest version was, I tried the slower option, and I believe I have the most current version. Good Luck! Quote
Yardley CPA Posted January 22, 2012 Report Posted January 22, 2012 Let's hope the season progresses smoothly for everyone! MichaelG it's nice to have you around. Appreciate your assistance. Quote
mcb39 Posted January 22, 2012 Report Posted January 22, 2012 I really have never had a problem with choosing "automatic". I don't have it set up to do itself, but manually choose it several times a day. My forms so far have all been up do date. Quote
