michaelmars Posted January 6, 2012 Report Posted January 6, 2012 i often have multiple years of atx open, i figured out how to change the icon on my desktop so the correct year gets open. I also like to keep 2011 and 2010 program pinned to my taskbar for fast opening. My question is, even though i have different icons on my desktop, the icon that shows on my taskbar is the same. Is there a way to make this one different too? Quote
Eric Posted January 6, 2012 Report Posted January 6, 2012 I only have Windows 7 as a reference, but this is how I'd do it. Drag the shortcuts from your desktop (the ones that already have the icon changed) down to your taskbar. They should retain the changed icon. Then you can delete the old shortcuts from your taskbar.
