cred65 Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 Thought I read somewhere that it is 3. What about multiple locations? TIA Quote
Jack from Ohio Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 Three is the number. If you need more, the unlimited license pack is the way to go. We have 10 workstations and 7 preparers. Maximum of three preparers or three computers, whichever comes first. Quote
taxit Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 If you are asking about ATX, I believe you need a license for each location. Quote
Jack from Ohio Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 If you have separate address locations, you will need a new license for EACH physical location. Been there. Quote
mcb39 Posted October 29, 2011 Report Posted October 29, 2011 I regularly take my laptop to a second location and work on tax returns there. I have only e-filed from there twice. This is not my legal residence or the address of my business. Is that an issue? I do have ATX installed on three computers though I am the only person who prepares or files returns. Quote

Your situation is completely allowed. If you had a second office location, you would need a separate license for it. 1 Quote
