Mike D Posted August 1, 2011 Report Posted August 1, 2011 I received a mail solicitation from Ultimate Tax that offers packages similar to TRX, 1040 package $299, 1040 & Business package $699, free e filing, etc. Upon further inquiry they offer a free 2 year price lock as well as a price match to your current provider. I asked them if they would consider my $299 premium package price with TRX for a price match and they agreed to it. In addition I found out that the 1040 package is actually Tax Wise while the 1040 & Business package is actually Drake! This may become a reasonable alternative should TRX lose it's affiliation with Tax Works! Thought it was worth sharing. Mike Dubin CPA Quote
