Catherine Posted May 26, 2011 Report Posted May 26, 2011 Hope all of our friends in the midwest and south are safe after (and during!) this nasty patch of vicious tornado activity! Sending prayers your way! Quote
Jack from Ohio Posted May 26, 2011 Report Posted May 26, 2011 These fell tonight at 9:35. This picture was taken almost 20 minutes later. The sound of all the different size hailstones hitting the tin roof was amazing!! These were golf ball size when they fell. It is 12:27 AM here now and more hail is coming down. Quote
Margaret CPA in OH Posted May 26, 2011 Report Posted May 26, 2011 Wow, Jack! In what part of Ohio are you? Here in Cincinnati we just had high winds, heavy rain and a sprinkling of sporadic hail. Oh, and power outage for a while, but nothing that those rocks! Quote
Lion EA Posted May 26, 2011 Report Posted May 26, 2011 Good luck, everyone! I have some relatives and some farmland in IL, but haven't heard of any damages so far except the small ones like shingles ripped off or power out. Our prayers go out to everyone in the path of this violent weather. Quote

Oh, and power outage for a while, but nothing that those rocks! I live in SW Ohio. Greenville is 75 miles almost due north of Cincinnati, is where I live and the pics were taken. Fortunately, the only casualties were a few thousand leaves from the trees, a few plants with minor damage in the garden and the ability to watch shows on local tv stations. Seems the weather forcasters want to teach Weather forcasting 101 on live TV. The weather coverage was on the local stations from 7:30PM till 1:30AM last night. Quote
