Printing problem

I cannot get documents on Word to print, however no problem with other programs printing. Can someone enlighten me as to what I may need to do to make it work properly? Or is there a compatability problem btn Word and MS7? Thank you for any assistance!

Try turning the printer off and back on.

Turned it off and on again, and uninstalled printer and re-installed it to no avail. I'm pulling my hair out, AND I DON'T HAVE ANY TO SPARE

A guess - maybe you have to go to your printer's website and download updated print drivers to your new computer.

Click Microsoft "Start" globe, then click "control panel", click "view devices and printers", right click your printer "icon", click "printer properties", click "Advanced" tab, click "New Driver" button, and let the wizard update for a new print driver for your printer model. Good luck.

Go buy Office 2010. Problem solved. Studen/Teacher version is less than $200. 2010 is totally bacward compatible. Step up to the year 2011 and solve the headaches.

My grateful appreciation for all who responded. Went to printer and determined needed a new cartridge, but it was not showing to computer. Replaced black cartridge and all is well. Thank you all!

What a relief for you. I was taught many years ago to always look for the simplest things first. I was about to suggest that you check to see if you had chosen the correct printer in print setup for Word. But, am glad that you solved it on your own.
