GeorgeM Posted March 22, 2011 Report Posted March 22, 2011 My first form 8829, and was no too happy, when entering the amounts on the form and the balances did not carry forward to the Schedule A. This was a feature in TaxWise. Ryan if you see this try to find out if it can be incorporated in to the 2011 package. Quote
Kea Posted March 23, 2011 Report Posted March 23, 2011 They should. I had one earlier a few weeks ago, but client didn't have enough to itemize, so I didn't check it too closely. But I tried on a dummy return & it flowed. I entered the info in the indirect expense column on 8829 & it went over to the Sch A. But this wouldn't be the first time a feature worked for some and not for others. Good luck. Quote
ed_accountant Posted March 23, 2011 Report Posted March 23, 2011 On form 8829, you must use the indirect column and then it will flow through to Schedule A. Quote
