HV Ken Posted March 14, 2011 Report Posted March 14, 2011 Ever since upgrading to Adobe Reader X, when I click on the Help button to open Form instructions, Adobe Reader opens up, but the instructions do not load. Is anyone else experiencing this, or is Adobe Reader X working ok for you? Quote

HV Ken Posted March 14, 2011 Author Report Posted March 14, 2011 Have you opened a regular PDF with the new Reader? Absolutely. With no problems. Quote

I am not having the same experience. Just called the help desk and their response was we don't support Adobe Reader X and we need to uninstall and go back to version 9. But won't Adobe just keep trying to move us up to the new version? And wouldn't a blog post on myatx on this be useful? Quote

I can only assume that this "problem" has something to do with some Adobe X setting....and that it can be changed. I just have not had time to mess with it. Quote

Not what I had planned for this morning!! Quote
RDennis Posted March 14, 2011 Report Posted March 14, 2011 Good idea. I downloaded 9.4 also, and it works better. Should have realized it sooner. Dennis Quote
RDennis Posted March 14, 2011 Report Posted March 14, 2011 I should have realized something wasn't right. I couldn't download any instructions from 2009, and now I can. Also, I couldn't download certain other information to view from other websites that I normally could. Quote
Catherine Posted March 14, 2011 Report Posted March 14, 2011 I posted on the "other" ATX forum and got nothing. I should have looked here first!! I'll have to uninstall Adobe X and go back to version 9-point-something. PLUS change my settings so it doesn't automatically upgrade itself!! Quote
