Tax Prep by Deb Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 Just sent mine out last week. But I must say I have had far more calls in the last week than I have had since I started my business. All indications are it's going to be really busy this year! Deb! Quote

elfling Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 We've been fielding calls all week from people wishing to schedule appointments in advance. Most are asking for the last week of this month and the first week of February. For us, that's unusual. We typically have heaps of people who wait to call until the day before they want to come in. Seems like it's going to be an interesting tax season. Quote
mcb39 Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 I don't understand the panic mode either. Am still sending out organizers; doing end of year bookkeeping, payroll reports, etc. All of the resources I need are at my disposal NOW. I did prepare a simple tax return last evening for a client who didn't come in last year until April. I have the same feeling as the rest of you that it is going to be busy, but one step at a time is the way I have to travel in my one person office. Have a great season, all. Quote
joanmcq Posted January 14, 2008 Report Posted January 14, 2008 I've got new clients coming in that need back years filed, as well as 2007. Like the big mess of the stolen IRA. At least her 2006 return will be easy! Quote
