All my state returns are Rejected by Agency

Looks like the switch to MeF may not be going very smoothly. Submitted a batch of Federal returns. They were Accepted. State returns then move from Hold to Created as normal. Submitted them. The entire batch of state returns came back as Rejected by Agency saying that the SSN was already used.

Called the Help Desk - they said they need to re-hang the returns, whatever that means. Will see what happens....

Anyone else having state e-file problems since March 1st hit? Is it just a NY thing?

at 1,000+ efiled already. 1% problems, 99% working as should. Must be a NY problem.

Based on what the state help desk told you, it was THEIR problem, not yours and not ATX's. These things do happen now and then, but not often. I bet you never have it happen again. You have not had problems any other day, have you?

I don't know what that means, but it sounds good. Maybe it's, like, stick back up on the rack. Or maybe hang the clients. Hang this whole job. Anyway, sounds good.

Looks like a NY issue. Had the same problem with NY, Called NYS Taxations and they verified that that rerun was submitted and accepted.
