AnnieR Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 Client, resident of OH, owns property in WV, which he has leased for gas production (fracking). It is on a 1099 as rents. This is a one-time payment, yearly he will be getting payments as royalties. What forms do I use to report this in West Virginia? I found the NR form but it is for wages only. How do I go about this? TIA, AnnieR Quote
Jim Oh Bkkr Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 Annie in 2008 it was IT-140 plus Sch A. Sch A separated WV income. WV changed a few things last year so you might confirm these forms still hold true. Edit: It does! Jim Quote

The gas companies are going crazy around here, trying to get people to lease them their land because of the Marcellus Shale boom.) Quote
