This is the message I'm getting when trying to transmit Form 7004:

MEFFDR0000-080

The TaxPeriodBeginDate present in the IRS Submission Manifest must match the TaxPeriodBeginDate provided in the

Return Header.

The company is a Calendar Year. We don't input beginning date and ending dates for Calendar Year. The 7004 asks for the year of the extension and I enter 2010. When I click on the Error Field it takes me to the Header of page 1 for the dates. I'm going to try entering 01/01/2010 and 12/31/2010 on Page 1 and see if that works.

Any other ideas?

I assume that this is not the first year for this corporation? I had a start-up for this year and had to input the date they formed for the beginning and 12/31/2010 for the end of the year. Of course, that was a partnership and may not be the problem you are having. Just a possibility.
