HV Ken Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 Finally installing my ATX 2007 software, and I received the following error: ATXXMLPrinterSetup Run-time error '-2147467259 (80004005)': ERROR: Cannot add printer driver (AddPrinterDriver function failed) [sYSTEM: 997 - Overlapped I/O operations in progress.] - TERMINATED This is on my new computer running XP Pro. Anyone have any idea what this might be? Thanks Quote
michaelmars Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 HI KEN,NICE TO SEE YOU AGAIN! Quote
HV Ken Posted January 11, 2008 Author Report Posted January 11, 2008 You too, Michael! And to think I was actually expecting a technical response to my post! Quote
kcjenkins Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 I don't know what the technical problem is, but I've found with many programs, over the years, that if you run into an install problem, it sometimes fixes itself if you do a reboot of the computer and then, with nothing running except the program you are installing, just try it again. Sometimes it is just some other program running in the background that causes a conflict. Maybe not even one actually 'running', because some programs, when you close them, leave a few processes still running in the background, just to make a restart faster. Rebooting closes all of those, so then the program can install correctly. It's worth a try. Good luck. Quote
HV Ken Posted January 12, 2008 Author Report Posted January 12, 2008 Thanks KC - I did try that without success. Isn't this only for W2/1099 ? Quote
