Crank Posted February 12, 2011 Report Posted February 12, 2011 Has anyone found a way to determine the efile status of a client in the TRXPro 1040 program without going to EF Ctr website and without opening any returns in the program? The only way I have found is to create new status such as "Completed Accepted" etc and looking n the Status Drawer. It would be nice if the program showed this info on the client selection screen or if we could only view incomplete returns on the client selection screen. Quote
DonnaA Posted February 12, 2011 Report Posted February 12, 2011 Be sure the "EF Fed Status" and "EF State Status" are checked in the "Hide/Show Columns" under "Utilities" in the Client Selection screen. I move these columns so they show on the screen without scrolling. Then you can tag all returns and click on "EF Status" on the tool bar. This will update the status. After the returns are accepted, I move them to a new folder named "COMPLETED". Quote

Crank Posted February 12, 2011 Author Report Posted February 12, 2011 Yes, thanks very much!!! The only problem is they all have a status of "Send Clients" not "Accepted" or anything else ...oh well. Quote
DonnaA Posted February 12, 2011 Report Posted February 12, 2011 I have efiled only 1041's so far, but those that have been accepted say "Accepted" under "EF Fed Status" in the Client Selection screen. The state does not accept efiled Fiduciary Returns. Try tagging all again and clicking on "EF Status" in the tool bar. Quote
Crank Posted February 12, 2011 Author Report Posted February 12, 2011 That did the trick. Thank you! Quote
GeneInAlabama Posted February 13, 2011 Report Posted February 13, 2011 Thanks Donna, I couldn't figure that out either. Maybe one day I'll get around to reading the instructions. Probably after tax season. Quote
