Crank Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 If I understand correctly, we can send efiles containing Sch A's and the other items that the IRS isnt ready to process to the Filing Center now and the IRS will process them when they are up to speed. Is that correct? What is everyone doing with these completed returns? Quote

Is that correct? What is everyone doing with these completed returns? I'm sending them in. Plus, when I close the client in tax program I have added specialized lines in the progress status. This is so I know what I've done for the client (i.e. waiting for signatures, sent efile, etc). Also, California is a direct state so preparers will have to decide whether to send through CA return or wait until after Federal is accepted. Beckster Quote

windmill Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 The ATX software won't let me create an efile with a Schedule A. Does your ATX software let you? I am holding a stack of returns until I can create efiles. Quote
Kea Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 We can create the e-files with TRX's TaxWorks software. Not ATX. Quote
