grmy2h Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 8829 is still in pending status on ATX download center. It is showing as draft in my program also. Quote
Catherine Posted February 7, 2011 Report Posted February 7, 2011 One of the chronic problems with ATX is the slow form approval -- and this year it is worse than usual, thanks to Congress. Quote
HV Ken Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 Just wondering why my 8829's are still in 'draft' - I thought maybe it was the whole link to the Sch A.....but apparently not. According to the Forms Release Schedule, the state of this form is: Draft - Final Pending from Tax Agency This is defined as: The tax agency has released a draft version of the form. The final version of the form is pending from the agency. Assuming this is accurate, then it seems ATX is waiting for the IRS to release the final version of the form. This tax season is off to a rough start! Quote
