HV Ken Posted February 1, 2011 Report Posted February 1, 2011 I just watched the ATX video ATXMeFvsLegacy. Is it safe to assume the ATX program itself either generates the e-file as MeF or Legacy? That was one point that was not specifically stated in the video. I guess the information in this video is merely FYI for us? Quote
Pacun Posted February 1, 2011 Report Posted February 1, 2011 While I was checking the preferences on ATX, I think I saw a check mark "create all returns using MeF"? Do we have to check that? Quote
mcb39 Posted February 1, 2011 Report Posted February 1, 2011 I had an issue the other day installing 2010 ATX on one of my laptops. It would not install, the message being that the computer did not support MEf. I installed the other disk that came with the program and then tried to reinstall ATX. It still failed to install. The odd thing is that this is not my oldest computer, but I can live without it and don't have time to worry about it now. There is something here that I am not understanding. Quote
