michaelmars Posted December 30, 2010 Report Posted December 30, 2010 Anyone able to do this? the instructions say you can but i can't get it to work. do i have to reenter all the firm id and efile stuff again? Quote
BulldogTom Posted December 30, 2010 Report Posted December 30, 2010 It worked fine for me. What you do is roll over one return and a dialog box will come up asking if you want to roll over the prior year information. There are 5 choices that you can click. I forget what they all are, but I am sure Preparer and billing rates come over. Tom Lodi, CA Quote
Pacun Posted December 30, 2010 Report Posted December 30, 2010 I think the forms are not ready yet and that's why you don't roll over properly. Quote

Look up knowledge base #15811 on My ATX. I had the same problem and this fixed it. I tried to copy & paste it on this reply , but it did not work. Quote
michaelmars Posted December 30, 2010 Author Report Posted December 30, 2010 THANKS. After a reboot it worked, guess the program was doing something in the backround when I tried the first 3 times. Quote
mcb39 Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 Yes, it's been a long couple of days. I just installed and updated program on second computer. After I had entered all of the preparer info (again) because I could not find the way to roll it over; all I had to do was roll over one return (mine) and all the info was there. Now I have two preparers and they are both me. Quote
