Not Tax - heartbreaking loss

Lodi fell to the number one seed in the division 1 playoffs Friday night. Lodi led 9-7 when our best player (quarterback and safety) was injured. Lodi could not recover from losing our star player.

Even so, I am still very proud of my son. He took on one of the best teams in the section and played very well.

Thanks to all of you for letting me share and brag on my son.

That is sad news, but you are right in maintaining the pride. I'm sure the team continued to try their best and the injured player must feel terrible. But those life lessons are hard to experience. We just get back up and try again next time as I am sure your son will do, given the opportunity.
