I am becoming concerned. I haven't seen KC on here for about a month, and that is rather unusual. Does anyone know if she is doing okay? I miss her wit and wisdom! :(

Uncanny - I was thinking the very same thing just this morning. I do hope she responds or someone who knows her provides some information. She hasn't participated in the other list serv I read, either.

I too have been wondering about KC. As I remember, her husband was quite ill and I figured that she has been busy taking care of him. Being a care giver can be a very stressful thing. Hope we hear something from her soon.

Well, here's something to set your hearts and minds at ease. True, KC has not posted here. However, she and I are "friends" on Facebook and while I haven't had any direct contact with her there lately, I just checked her page and it's full of postings of her doings in FarmVille and Cafe World and the other Facebook games.

I think she's just taking some time off and puttering on anything NOT tax-related. She seems to be OK and I'm sure she still loves us.

Thanks so much, Catherine, for this update. Perhaps you could just let her know that she is missed by her other family and that we've been concerned. But she should continue enjoying whatever as tax season will be here soon enough and we hope to again benefit from her wisdom, if she chooses.

I think the farmville postings might be automatic, a friend of mine past away over the summer and I was getting updates months after her passing. At first I was scared, but let's hope she is okay.

Forgot to reply to this earlier; I did exchange messages with KC on Facebook. She says hello to all and thanks for thinking of her. She's been a bit burned out and is just taking some time off to relax. She'll be back.

She is certainly entitled to take a break. I was just concerned for her and her husband and wanted to know that she was doing all right. She has been such a big help to me, and she is one of the reasons that this is my favorite tax discussion board. Thank you, Catherine, for checking on her and letting us know she is okay! :)
