Chowdahead Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 Over the past year I have received a solicitation from ATX regarding a product they sell to instantly obtain taxpayer transcripts. Currently, whenever I have a customer who needs a transcript, I generate a 4506-T, have them sign it, and mail it or fax it to the IRS. It typically takes from 1-4 weeks to receive the transcript from the IRS. The ATX product seems convenient, but it's expensive. Something like $170 a year. I had read that there was a way from Preparer's to obtain transcripts instantly through their E-Services account on the IRS website. But I can't find it for the life of me. Does any one have any experience with with the ATX product or with the E-Services method through the IRS for obtaining official transcripts? Quote

TAXBILLY Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 Sorry. The link doesn't work because of the underline. Go to irs.gov and put e-services in the search box and you'll get the article. taxbilly Quote
