Taxizen Posted July 26, 2010 Report Posted July 26, 2010 I have the printing problem using ATX. I am tired of rebooting the computer. Do you have this problem? I wonder how to fix it. Thanks in advance. Quote
TAXBILLY Posted July 26, 2010 Report Posted July 26, 2010 Can't help if we don't know the problem. Can you be more specific? taxbilly Quote
Pacun Posted July 26, 2010 Report Posted July 26, 2010 One time I had a printing problem but I didn't need to reboot, I just added paper to my printer. Quote
Taxizen Posted July 26, 2010 Author Report Posted July 26, 2010 Can't help if we don't know the problem. Can you be more specific? taxbilly I have a vista pc. When I try to print, the screen pops up and asks me to do something but I couldn't do. The screen shows the printer name, the print rage of pages from 8224 to 8229 and so on. I don't know why. I had to reboot the computer then it worked. But, again I have the same problem after minutes. Quote
Pacun Posted July 26, 2010 Report Posted July 26, 2010 This might help. Log on with the administrator account and add your regular account to the administrators group. Log on with your regular account and try to print. See if you can do what you "couldn't do". I am assuming that you need to update the driver for your printer and that you need administrator rights to do that. You can also open ATX and see what printers you have by pulling down the file menu and select change printer. If you are using the wrong printer, select the correct one. This will help if you have problems printing ONLY while using ATX. Quote
