I'm working on a New Mexico tax return (1st one ever) & am trying to see if there's anything out of the ordinary I need to look out for. Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated :-)

Thanks!!

I'm not in New Mexico but I've done a number of these over the years. The full-year resident is pretty straightforward. Part-year residents also need the PIT-B to apportion income. They do give credit for tax paid to another state. You need a PIT-8453 to e-file.

If there's anything else more specific, ask away and I'll see if I can answer.

Thanks, Catherine!

Just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything quirky I needed to look out for :-)
