NT - "Chase" Arrives

My wife and kids (ages 10 and 6) have been dying for a dog. In searching PetFinders.com, we adopted a 9 week old Labbe (3/4 Beagle, 1/4 Lab). "Chase" came home on Monday and it's been tough getting returns done ever since (although, I think I'm just using him as an excuse.) B)

He is just adorable! Makes me want another despite my husband and 3 cats and granddog. Keep us updated on new puppy experiences. I would ask to share puppy breath (yes, I'm one of those) but that would be tough even with Eric's expertise.

Congratulations! I will not say he's cute because my dog thinks that is his name. Skeeter is our office dog. He is maltese / shizu mix and all I hear all day long is "he's cute, he's adorable", blah, blah, blah. Truth, though, is, that in an otherwise professional office, he has been very good for PR. He is just 10 months old and his best friend is my German Shepherd (who does not get to come to the office - but she is my baby). They get along marvelously. But enough about my kids, congratulations again and I hope he brings you and your family many, many years of joy.

He is a really cute puppy. I haven't had a dog since I got married, but we have a cat who thinks he is a dog. He thinks that every time the doorbell rings, it's for him and comes running. Enjoy!

He looks mostly beagle - how big will he get with the 1/4 lab added in? Should be a smart, trainable dog with that mixture.
