I have a client who is 39 years of age, spouse 41, and was rejected for the following.

Error code: 1132

Schedule M - Economic Recovery Payments Received (SEQ 0170) does not match IRS records. An economic recovery payment may have been received if social security benefits, supplemental security income, railroad retirement benefits, or veterans disability compensation or pension benefits were received.

This client does not receive payments from social security or any government agency.

I was thinking of checking the yes box and not pouting any amount received.

Any ideas on how to get it through.

Check to make sure they do not have a child receiving SS if not put 250 in to e-file.Client must call SS and obtain letter they did not receive the money file 1040x with copy of letter.
