MAMalody Posted January 30, 2010 Report Posted January 30, 2010 I am still unable to import an excel spreadsheet as a master form. Can somebody give the me the KB directions or directions for this. I believe that I am doing it all okay, but, I must be missing something. Quote
taxit Posted January 30, 2010 Report Posted January 30, 2010 On the CCH/ATX site they posted that there was a bug in this feature and they expect to have a fix soon. They disabled the feature when they discovered the problem. Quote
MAMalody Posted January 31, 2010 Author Report Posted January 31, 2010 Thanks. I will have to wait I guess. The worksheet I want to import I used on every return I filed last year (well all but three). Quote
Lion EA Posted January 31, 2010 Report Posted January 31, 2010 Mike, what did you find so valuable that you used it all the time? Do you mind sharing? Or, I guess because of your specialty, it might be a rather specialized worksheet, such as dividing clergy deductions between wages and consulting or something peculiar to that calling's taxes. Anyway, you know how nosy all of us are! Quote
MAMalody Posted February 1, 2010 Author Report Posted February 1, 2010 You are right. It is a spread sheet (still somewhat under development) that does all that the ATX Clergy Worksheets 1-4 do along with gathering the clergy professional expenses for Form 2106. I prefer to load it with each individual's tax return because I can link all the fields necessary to their ultimate destination. Right now I have to keep the worksheet with their computer file and then transfer the the necessary totals to the tax return software. I am basically lazy, I guess. Quote
