ADGFINANCIAL Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Just got this from New York State: Form 1099-G, Statement for Recipients of State Income Tax Refunds from the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance is now available electronically. We will no longer mail Form 1099-G statements to taxpayers beginning this filing season. By supplying this information electronically, we will save approximately $700,000. Please use this link to get your Form 1099-G information: http://www.tax.state.ny.us/pit/1099g.htm August @ ADG Financial in the Hudson Valley Quote
Lion EA Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 I received that email, followed by another correcting the link. In the meantime, I went through the NY web site and discovered that refund info is not available now: "Try again later." Quote
Don in Upstate NY Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 ... "Try again later." ... It's working now. In my case I got a refund but didn'r itemize, so it says "Our records indicate that you have no 1099-G amount to report for 2009 filing purposes." Quote
Lion EA Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 Mine still tells me to Close and Try Again Later. Quote
