kcjenkins Posted January 16, 2010 Report Posted January 16, 2010 The IRS will not being giving any acknowledgements until Monday January 18th or Tuesday 19th. That is the latest news I've seen on the subject. Quote
WmMorris Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 Has anyone tried to submit 1099s by e-file? I submitted a batch on the 14th that is *still* in the "Transmitted to EFC" status. In the interim, an 1120S has been filed and accepted. Quote

In the interim, an 1120S has been filed and accepted. The 1099's usually take awhile. I do the 1099's as they come in and send to the recipients. However, I do not submit any 1099's until close to the filing due date. This way if there are any discrepencies between the payer & payees records it can be fixed before I submit them. Quote
