Do not pass GO, do not collect $200" Call a salesperson and pay for the software. They will give you the code you are asking for. Quote
Tax Prep by Deb Posted January 8, 2010 Report Posted January 8, 2010 I am interested in renewing my subscription to MAX / ATX. I am trying to do this on-line and the web page is asking for a Quote Number. does anyone have such a number that they can share/ The quote number they are referring to is one sent by e-mail from them trying to get you to renew. That quote number is assigned to each individual and is what allows you to renew on line. Call customer service, tell them you never received a e-mail quote and see what you can negotiate with them. This usually comes before the deadline for early renewal so that you can get the discount. I would stick to the point you never received it and ask for the discount anyhow. Hope this helps! Deb! Oh Baby! Posted January 10, 2010 Author Report Posted January 10, 2010 Thanks. I called them and renewed, at a slightly lower negotiated price. For a second there I thought I was going to go to jail. Accountants are so much fun! Quote
Jack from Ohio Posted January 10, 2010 Report Posted January 10, 2010 Funny how the salesman I talked to in May said... I quote... "These early renewal discounts will NOT be offered after May 31, 2009." I bet him a steak dinner at a restaurant of his choice, and he took the bet. He has since welched on paying off. Glad you got the discount. Entirely disgusted with the blatant intentional misleading of customers by the management of CCH. De Ja Vue all over again!! Quote
