Don in Upstate NY Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 Building the Case: A Panel Discussion with Tax Professionals Benefits of e-file • Enhancements to the e-file program • First-hand experience from panelists and peers Date: November 18, 2009 (archived* for later viewing) Register and attend: http://cs.sbtv.com/irswebinarreg This looks like a rerun of the seminar they aired last week. One free CPE hour (at least for EAs, CPAs are advised to check their state criteria). I am a proponent of e-file, but this seminar has very little to offer in the way of technical content. {I think e-file is good. How about you, Betty? Oh yes, and it saves me so much paper. And postage too! And my floors have never been so clean.} Quote
kcjenkins Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 I guess it ties in with the new tax bill Obama just signed for extending the Homebuyer Credit, which snuck in a requirement that ALL PROFESSIONALLY PREPARED 1040s AND TRUST AND ESTATE RETURNS MUST BE EFILED. Quote
