joans Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 Working on a return from 2000 and don't have the program:( Looking up forms on IRS for 2000 and was looking at 8873 and thought it said "extraterrestrial income exclusion" when it really said "extraterritorial income exclusion". I have finally lost the little thread of sanity that I thought I had left:)) Have a great weekend all:) Sara Quote
rfassett Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 That (the complete loss of sanity) is a scary realization at first, but you will get use to it. And actually, it gives you a wonderful latitude for behavior. I arrived at that point several years back and don't know if I could ever go back. :) Quote
Lion EA Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 This extended tax season gives us little time to recover, so my insanity may now be permanent. Thank goodness we have other tax preparers who understand us! Quote

Once that sanity is gone, you no longer worry about losing it. And you find you don't miss it at all, either! Quote
Margaret CPA in OH Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 Agree to all and you don't even remember that you used to have as you have now reached a 'new normal," a great place to be! Quote
bstaxes Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 Still waiting for someone to define 'normal'. Guess I am as crazy as the next one or maybe as 'normal' as the next one. Quote
Kea Posted October 16, 2009 Report Posted October 16, 2009 Still waiting for someone to define 'normal'. Guess I am as crazy as the next one or maybe as 'normal' as the next one. I've always believed that it's abnormal to be normal, and normal to be abnormal. After all, how many "normal" people do you know? Quote
Tax Prep by Deb Posted October 16, 2009 Report Posted October 16, 2009 I've always believed that it's abnormal to be normal, and normal to be abnormal. After all, how many "normal" people do you know? Abby Normal (abnormal) From the old Gene Wilder Frankenstien Movie. Deb! Quote

jainen Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 >>waiting for someone to define 'normal'<< As I understand it, pretty much the whole idea of normal is that it's what EVERYBODY is. Quote
