cathyan Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 I injured my arm and am taking some pain pills that just won't let me think, and I don't think I've ever had this situation before. The son of an old friend just called to find out how to get his refund from 2 years ago. He filed and all, but was sent to jail before the check came. and he thinks it was probably returned. What do we do to help him get it? I didn't do his return that year. Thanks Quote

Thanks You need a 2848 then call practitioner's line they can tell you if check was ever cashed there is a form that you fill out and it takes a couple of months and they will replace it. You can have client sitting with you and he give IRS person permission to talk with you. Quote
