green car tax rebate

Client left a message that he purchased a green car and was told he would get a rebate on his income tax of $1700. My first thoughts were why not a black, red or white car. I wonder if the car is dark green or neon lime green????

Okay I better get serious. Anybody heard of this, if so can you shed some light on it or did the client get confused over the sales tax?

Now you got ME confused. Is there a rebate for sales tax? Tax credits for energy-efficient cars have been available for years. Regardless of the color, did you ask what model he bought, and what date?

Mine is Onyx Green Pearlescent, but I'm not getting any credits because I bought it last year and it wasn't brand new....just looks like it.
