NY efile hung up in IRS cleared

This happened to me with this same return last year..darn thing never updated. When I finally called ATX, I found out it had rejected back in April. Now, the same thing this year. I checked thru ATX support and it has an ''A" next to it, but not the magic word 'accepted'. Since I haven't had a day to call, I wonder if anyone else has had this problem?
