Dan Posted April 16, 2009 Report Posted April 16, 2009 Can you efile a return after you send in Form 4868 (Application for Automatic Extension of Time)? I know Kansas speaks about sending in the federal form (4868) when you mail in the Kansas Return? Say you send in Form 4868 on April 15, is it ok to efile the return on April 16? Quote
imjulier Posted April 16, 2009 Report Posted April 16, 2009 Yes, you can e-file federal whenever you are ready....even today. In CO, I generally don't send an extension unless funds are due nor do I provide federal extension with the return. Julie Quote
