What a day today!!

Client purchased a used van with all handicap accessories already installed. (wheel chair lift, modified controls, etc) Can the pro-rated costs of the accessories be deducted as medical expense in the same manner as installing them in a new vehicle?

I would say yes, I don't see why not. I've been wrong before, so I took a quick look at Pub 502, and it really doesn't address used equipment, does it?

Today has been weird for me. It has been surprisingly calm until about an hour ago, then a flurry of people dropping off stuff. They're gettin extensions. Guess their weekend will be better cause I have their stuff or something.
