Denne Posted March 17, 2009 Report Posted March 17, 2009 I am so unfamiliar with this Timothy Plan. I have tried to find more information, but so far no luck. The client said she thinks....not sure...that it may be used as a reduction in income on the Michigan Income tax return. Does anyone know about the Timothy Plan and perhaps what State the plan originates from? Any help will be appreciated.......Thanks! Quote
TAXBILLY Posted March 17, 2009 Report Posted March 17, 2009 If you google you'll find The Timothy Plan to be a mutual fund. taxbilly Quote
JohnH Posted March 17, 2009 Report Posted March 17, 2009 Here's a link to their ESA. Their paperwork says on page 8 that contributions are not tax deductible. http://www.timothyplan.com/Annuities/frame...s-education.htm Michigan allows deductions for contributions to Section 529 Plans, but not ESA's.
