Fee Collect -What Id is required?

I"m doing my first fee collect -for the ID what ID is suitable? Do we have to see the ID? (I've got a customer who faxes me the authorization).

Also what are the forms that need to be signed? Are there 2 authorizations to be signed plus the 8879?

I've used their Drivers License for the ID. Perhaps your client could fax you a copy of that?

There is a FeeCollect authorization that has to be signed, the same form that asks for the ID on page 2. Also there is a Consent to Disclose and a Consent to Use. Those forms you fill in a pin number, and print them, but they do not have to be signed. That's it, other than the 8879, and state form if required.
