'Held' efiles

I 'held' a few efiles (prompted by ATX during the creating process). These were situations where I was filing more than one state return. How do I 'unhold' them? The only method I can figure out is to actually recreate them. If this is the case, what's the point of choosing 'hold'.

Mine automatically get changed from held to created when the federal is accepted.

In E-file manager, mark the files that are held that you want to release.

Click on e-file in the toolbar and choose "release held files."

This will change them to created.
