cpr1955 Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 One of my 1065's was rejected for "XML data has failed schema validation". What is this and how can I fix it? Quote
Lion EA Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 Try updating your program and forms and then recreating the e-file. Quote
cpr1955 Posted March 2, 2009 Author Report Posted March 2, 2009 I tried that and also called ATX supoort. They had me go through and remove all unneeded punctuation and then resubmit. IRS still rejected. I keep getting an "unexpected end of content" message for the EIN, Start Date, Accounting Method and Number of Forms K-1 fields. Quote
Lion EA Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 So, something funky is in the heading someplace? An unseen character. I'd restore all those fields and retype. Check on when to use or not to use "-" in EIN or "/" in date. Quote
