Booger Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 New client this year. He has both a SS # and an ITIN. The 2007 preparer used his ITIN number on the 1040. Should I use his SS# or his ITIN on the 2008 returns? Never dealt with a client that had both. Quote

Booger Posted February 20, 2009 Author Report Posted February 20, 2009 Thanks for your response, Dave. Quote
Kea Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 With the ITIN the client won't get the stimulus payment. With SS#, they do. Client will appreciate the extra $$ - assuming they otherwise qualify. Quote
