Dan Posted February 13, 2009 Author Report Posted February 13, 2009 Bottom of the filers info tab of the 1040 form I tried that but it doesn't work. I have Form 1040 (version 48) Quote
JRS Posted February 13, 2009 Report Posted February 13, 2009 Go to the 1040EF. Make sure you check use last year's account number. If direct deposit of refund or amount due, you check the box. If new numbers, enter them on this form and they should transfer. Quote

Is there anyway to do it without going the Efile route? 3. What are the steps? If you're not using e-file, go to the Filer Info page and enter the numbers there. Follow-up question: 1. Is there a refund amount? You can't use direct debit unless you're e-filing. Quote

Hello, was having the same problem, and as usual, could find no answer on the forum, so I just went ahead and figured it out on my own. It turns out, that the numbers will not carry from the bottom of the "Filer's Info" tab of the 1040 if form "1040 EF info" is present in the return. Delete the "1040 EF info" and the numbers carry fine. Quote
