cientax Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 Does anyone know if the ATX 2003, 2004, 2005 software are compatible with microsoft vista home basic? I bought a new computer to move all old files to the new computer and the new computer has vista home basic. Quote
taxtrio Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 Don't think so.... there was discussion of it back then and they said they were not going to re-write the old programs to work with vista... I don't have vista so I can't say for sure. How about anyone out there with Vista??? Taxtrio Quote
Kea Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 I switched to a Vista machine and moved 1998 - 2006 ATX to it. I think I had to jump through some hoops on the 1998 - 1999, but I think the rest went OK. I no longer remember what I had to do, but ATX was pretty helpful. I did it off-season -- that was a big help. Quote
MAMalody Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 I have back to 2004 on Vista with no problems. No hoops, just regular installation. Quote
cientax Posted February 10, 2009 Author Report Posted February 10, 2009 Thaks, I'm gonna try it see if they go ok. Quote
