bstaxes Posted February 8, 2009 Author Report Posted February 8, 2009 Yes, New Jersey, but there was no info for the fed. ATX had no errors for fed. This message came up when i highlighted the return and click on show rejections. Quote
kcjenkins Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 Was the federal return accepted? If so, just recreate the state return as a stand alone, and resend it. Quote
longmont ray Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 I had the same error message this AM. When checked on the rejection action required, response was that no return error on this return. Any suggestions on where to find out what the problem is? Quote
Richcpaman Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 bstaxes: I just had the same error code. I resent the return to the IRS/state and it came back with a different error code the second time. The second time it came back with bad birthdate for one of the kids. (New return this year. gave me wrong year of birth, EIC kicked it) Resubmitted with correct birth year, no problem. Rich Quote
bstaxes Posted February 9, 2009 Author Report Posted February 9, 2009 Finally found the problem. Checking reject history I found a code for ssn. Corrected ssn and the return was accepted. Spent a lot of time looking for it sure hope ATX can fix the problem. Quote
