I have to replace by laser printer. I am locked out of my atx and customer service is not in today. Can anyone tell me if it has to be a specific laser printer to work with ATX or will any laser by compatible. I am looking at the HP 2015.

Thanks,

Bonnie

All the HP printers should be compatible. That is a good choice, IMHO, at 27 ppm, and first page out in less than 8.5 seconds, for $250. Automatic two-sided printing is nice, also, from time to time.

We use a 2015n at my office with no problems with ATX. The n just means it can hook directly into the network rather than having to be hooked to a computer. Paper capacity is about 250 sheets in the tray, it has an auxiliary feed for envelopes or forms, and it has been very quiet and trouble free for us. We used it all last tax season, and so far this year so I don't think compatibility will be a problem.

Apparently some HP printers don't work as there's around 15 on the printers not recommended list.

If you look at the date that the list was compiled; it's quite out of date. I ordered a new HP last night as my 2200 is acting stupid. I ordered the 2035 which is also not on the list, but I think is new since that list came out. I have never had an issue with ATX and HP and I have gone through several over the years.
