Click the Download Center tab, then click ATX Forms Schedule in the left navigation bar. This table lists dates on which ATX expects to post forms approved for paper filing. If you cannot find a form listed, click the link to “request a form” and it will be considered for addition to our library. • View Federal and State e-file availability at the ATX Support Center (www.myatx.com). Click the E-File Center tab, then click E-File Availability in the left navigation bar. This table provides estimates of the dates on which we expect to release forms for e-filing. (Forms do not need paper-filing approval before they can be e-filed.) Monday, January 12, 2009 • Updated bank forms may be released. Check for updates daily. • We will begin posting state form updates. Check for updates daily. • Our new morning TV program, “Good Morning, Tax Pros,” will air its first episode at 9:00 a.m. Eastern time on ATX TV (http://atxinctv.com). Tune in to this program each weekday during tax season for news and important information about IRS and bank acknowledgments, software updates and much more. Each morning’s program is available all day so you can view it live at 9 or later at your convenience. Thursday, January 15, 2009 • We will begin posting the EF e-filing info forms for download. These forms are required for you to e-file federal and state returns. Update your software frequently to make sure you have all forms. Friday, January 16, 2009 • First day of e-filing for 1040 returns, starting at 12:01 a.m. EST • IRAL (Instant RAL) processing opens (approximately 9:00 a.m. EST) Sunday, January 18, 2009 • This is typically when we receive the first IRS acknowledgements. • This is typically when we receive the first bank acknowledgments.
