Chowdahead Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 Did everyone here get a user's manual for ATX TY 2008? I can't seem to find mine and now I don't even think they shipped a manual this year. Are they relying on a PDF this year? Quote
Edward Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 You get the FIRST ONE FREE and after that, subsequent editions cost around 60.00.... Quote
mcb39 Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 I did not receive a user's manual....just 2 small pamphlets; "Quick Reference Guide" and "Getting Started Guide". Did, however, receive 1040 Express Answers, which is a Tax Reference book and not for the Software. Quote
Gail in Virginia Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 I don't recall getting a user's manual last year. Most of the time this forum is more help that any manual anyway, so I could be mistaken. Quote

However, I like to read through the entire manual so that I can be as informed as possible on the program's basic and semi-advanced features. Quote
Dan Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 The "User Guide" is available for you if you go to "MyATX Support Center." When you get to "MyATX Support Center," click on the Knowledgebase/learning center tab and on the left you will see the 2008 User Guide listed. Quote

Haven't done it yet this year but will soon. Quote
bstaxes Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 Save it to desktop that's a great idea. I usually just fumble through till I get it to work. I know and I tell people, "If all else fails read the instructions". Sometimes it is hard to take your own advice. Quote
kcjenkins Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 And it is really easier to use as a pdf file on your desktop, IMHO, than a paper copy would be, because you can use search or find so much faster than you can find something in a paper manual. Quote
