Tracy Lee Posted April 4 Report Posted April 4 New TP has a worksheet that says ' Tax Return Carryovers to 2024' The first column shows Disallowing Form, and it shows 1116 amt. the description shows Passive inc C/O form 2014-2022 with all the individual amounts. I can not find this form in ATX to put those amounts in there to continue to carry forward, anyone know where this form is? Quote
Margaret CPA in OH Posted April 5 Report Posted April 5 Look on Form 1116 in the first tab, Pages & Worksheets. Scroll down to Sch B (1116) - Credit Carryback/Carry forward and enter the data there. 2 Quote
mcb39 Posted April 5 Report Posted April 5 Also, click on the amount of the refund or owed amount in the upper right corner of the screen. It will bring up a form for tax information for the client and page 2 has all carry over amounts. 3 Quote
Margaret CPA in OH Posted April 5 Report Posted April 5 Yes, I always use that Tax Summary and love the carryover information. It has for AMT, Roth contributions, Foreign tax credit, and probably more than I recall at the moment. I print it out on pdf or paper along with the comparison for my clients. 2 Quote

It doesn't have all the carryover info on it but it's better than nothing. 1 Quote
Tracy Lee Posted April 5 Author Report Posted April 5 I found the place to enter all the data, thank you, I'm grateful; however I can't seem to find the right worksheet to print that shows the data. I chose 1116 under Federal Worksheets and check marked the Sch B-Cred Carry and AMT Sch B - Credit Carry but neither are populating. What am I missing or is there a different line item I should be checking to get this? This is the form I'm trying to create (in attachment). I also, always, include the tax summary with my clients tax return. I find it very useful! Tax Return Carryovers to 2024.pdf Quote
BulldogTom Posted April 5 Report Posted April 5 On the top of the report there is a dropdown box. Click the arrow and pick Passive. Everything will be there. Tom Longview, TX 3 Quote
Abby Normal Posted April 5 Report Posted April 5 ATX has carryovers for Sch D in the worksheets. Same for 8582 losses, foreign tax credit, contributions, PTP losses, etc. There's no one central place to see them all. 4 Quote
