Catherine Posted December 22, 2008 Report Posted December 22, 2008 Ever wonder how the angel got on the top of the Christmas tree? From what I heard, it all began ages ago.... It was NOT a good season at the North Pole. Parts had been delayed. Production was behind schedule. The elves were threatening to strike for more jingle bells on their hats. Somehow they made it to Christmas Eve, with Santa managing to keep hold of his temper. The sleigh was being loaded despite the bags not cooperating, the reindeer were fussing about the harnesses -- and there's a knock on the door. Santa flings the door open, "WHAT is it this time?!?!" he snaps at the angel outside. "I've got your Christmas tree, Santa. Where do you want me to put it?" Quote
jainen Posted December 22, 2008 Report Posted December 22, 2008 >>Where do you want me to put it?<< That explains why my treetop needs to get lit first thing every morning. Quote
kcjenkins Posted December 22, 2008 Report Posted December 22, 2008 As tax professionals, we all understand how Santa felt. It's the same way we all feel on April 15th. It's amazing how many of our clients actually survive when they walk in for the first time all year on that day, isn't it? Quote
Lion EA Posted December 23, 2008 Report Posted December 23, 2008 Another use for an old Christmas tree! I think I'll save mine until 15 April and use it on the most deserving client of the day. Quote
RitaB Posted December 23, 2008 Report Posted December 23, 2008 Ok, really off topic, but I received this today. I was so touched I just wanted to share: SOMETIMES Sometimes, when you cry... no one sees your tears. Sometimes, when you are in pain... no one sees your hurt. Sometimes, when you are worried... no one sees your stress. Sometimes, when you are happy... no one sees your smile. But FART!! just one time... and EVERYBODY knows! Quote
