If I don't enter amount on 1095A w/s for SLCSP that I had to look up, no 8962. If you do not enter any amount in column b (slcsp) Proseries will throw up errors. Do you just convert with error check off ? But someone mentioned above the IRS would look up the SLCSP and adjust the return. Then the clients would receive a nice refund. Back to square one. Quote

Are you using PS Professional or one of the lesser versions they came out with? Quote
BTS Posted March 15 Author Report Posted March 15 Professional. Been using it for decades Cant even override 8962 figures. Quote

To clarify: you enter the info on Form 1095-A. You enter annual total on line 33A, leaving 33B and 33C blank and you get errors? What do the errors say? I will clarify something I said earlier. Putting an amount in 33A will populate the 8962 form. However, it won't show as a form in use. Quote

Column B fields are all "salmon or pink" meaning inputs are required. The error states that the SLCSP has to be entered. Thus my asking if you just efile convert with error checking off. But yes form 8962 will not activate populate unless column B is inputted. Quote

BTS Posted March 15 Author Report Posted March 15 That got rid of the errors. Question now is will the IRS figure the SLCSP and adjust the return ? Proseries has been a pain this year. Especially with the NOL. With NOL I just manually attached Form 172 and turned off error check. Quote
BTS Posted March 15 Author Report Posted March 15 The return you sent with just total on 1095A screen went through fine efiling ? Quote

I've filed returns that way using only the totals for years when all 12 months are the same, and none were rejected. I use Drake, but that shouldn't make a difference. Never received any notices either, even on ones I had to look up the SLCSP. Quote

I just cant see letting them take the credit when they didn't pay out of pocket. And if the return is rejected we will just snail mail it. Lets pray if DOGE sends taxpayers refunds that we will not be the ones reconciling whether they got a refund or not. But we all know we will. Quote
